Vintage Georges Briard Vibrant Tennis Lowball Glasses
A rarely seen Briard pattern, and one of the most graphic in his tennis collection. These mid-century lowball tumblers feature bold red and blue tennis rackets set against a white grid ground, framed top and bottom with classic red, white, and blue stripes — a colorway that feels equal parts Wimbledon and American summer. Screen-printed in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or fading. At 4" tall and 3.25" wide, they are a perfect rocks glass.
Georges Briard (1917–2005) studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and built his reputation hand-drawing designs on glass blanks before licensing his work to major manufacturers. His pieces are among the most collectible examples of mid-century barware, and this pattern is among his most difficult to find.
Available individually or as a set of two. Only three glasses available — once they're gone, they're gone.
Vintage condition: Screen print is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or fading. All photos are of the actual glasses available. For additional photos or questions, please contact hello@iheartmarblefox.com.
