Vintage Georges Briard Tennis Highball Tumblers
The tall companion to our beloved Briard lowball, and equally at home on a well-appointed bar cart. These mid-century highball glasses carry the same signature design — 22kt gilt gold tennis rackets and white enamel tennis balls — scaled to the more generous proportions of a Collins or iced tea glass. The work of Georges Briard, the Ukrainian-born artist whose gold-embellished glassware graced the tables of Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller throughout the 1960s, these are as much collectible as they are functional.
Available individually or as a set of two, four, or six — select your quantity below.
Pair with our Briard Tennis Lowball Tumblers for a complete bar setting.
Vintage condition: We carefully select only examples with gold in excellent to near-excellent condition. The gilt strings on Briard glassware are the first area to show wear, and while we do our best to carry only the finest examples, minor wearing on the string detailing may exist consistent with the age of the piece. All photos are of the actual glasses available. For additional photos or questions, please contact hello@iheartmarblefox.com.
